10 HOMEMADE DIY FACE MASKS FOR OILY SKIN
Oily skin is a very common type of skin, that’s why we are going to talk about face masks for oily skin. This type of skin is characterized by an excessive production of sebum. If in the case of dry skin the hydrolipidic film was absent, in this case it can be so abundant as to suffocate the skin.
For this reason, oily skin requires not too aggressive treatments, since it is often also subject to inflammation: it is essential to consciously choose the ingredients to be used.
How to recognise oily skin?
The T zone (forehead, nose, chin) is often shiny; the pores are dilated, blackheads and imperfections appear; it is prone to redness and has a rather rough and irregular appearance. Finally, makeup tends not to last long, but it spoils much faster.

The main ingredient of this mask, turmeric has strong anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, also very useful in case of imperfections and pimples. Aloe gel also heals the skin from the inside, eliminating the bacteria that cause infections and reducing redness and swelling in the affected areas.

2. HONEY AND LEMON MASK
Lemon juice is astringent, antibacterial, antioxidant and whitening. Combined with honey it is the ideal combination to defeat the shiny and impure effect of the skin, but at the same time giving hydration and a complete soothing effect. Honey, on the other hand, is moisturizing, energizing, nourishing, antiseptic: it has a protective function and counteracts the action of free radicals, a perfect anti-age.
Ingredients
Honey: 2 tsp
Lemon: half
Preparation
In a small bowl put the honey and add the lemon. Once finished, put the bowl in the fridge for at least 30 minutes: the cold temperatures will make the skin more compact and toned.
Remember that this mask cannot be left in the fridge for days, as it tends to make mold.
Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
PLEASE NOTE:
Do not expose yourself in the sun after making the mask, especially in summer. This is because the lemon directly in contact with the sun causes the appearance of spots on the skin.
3. GREEN AND CLAY TEA MASK
Another of the DIY face masks for oily skin, has green tea as its protagonist. It, thanks to the presence of catechins, helps fight the bacteria that cause acne and facial imperfections. Combined with white clay and grapefruit juice, the result of the mask will bring balance to the pH, in addition to a general anti-inflammatory action.

White clay: to taste
Grapefruit juice: 1 or 2 tbsp

Apply directly on the face and keep on for about ten minutes, after which rinse with warm water. Thanks to the presence of grapefruit juice, you will also get a natural, astringent and anti-inflammatory tonic.
